Fun Summer Activities

Kaley Scherrer

Summer skies have us all making plans to enjoy the weather.

Kaley Scherrer, Staff Writer

It’s already May, and summer vacation is almost here once again. Students are eager for the relaxation that is associated with the long break, but what most people don’t think about is what to do during those boring spells that often happen during summer. Here are a few ideas for fun activities to keep the boredom away:

Build a fort

Picnic at a park

Go hiking

Visit the library

Walk around your neighborhood

Go people watching

Paint rocks

Go see a movie

Get a slurpee

Ride a bike

Throw some water balloons

Binge TV shows or movies

Order a pizza

Make some tea

Make chalk art

Get ice cream

Go to the pool

Pick some flowers

Do a coloring page

Play Club Penguin Rewritten

Tie Dye some clothes

Sell lemonade

Plant some flowers

Bake cookies

Go tubing/white water rafting

Eat fruit

Make a smoothie

Best wishes to all the students during the summer holiday. Be safe and stay out of trouble!
