5 Things You Didn’t Know About Aparna Gupta

Aparna is an active participant in the Heritage Drama Department, she has participated in it all three  years of her high school career and plans on participating in her senior year as well. This past year the drama department put on the show Mamma Mia!, one that was nominated for several cappies, and Aparna was one of those cappie nominees. She is the head of run crew which entails controlling the behind the scenes action such as lighting and props. Even though they did not win the cappie for run crew last year, she is hopeful they will have another chance to win this year.

Aparna Gupta has been vegetarien since she was 6 or 7, and is one because she never really ate meat as a kid and when she did, she found the taste to be unappealing. Her favorite veggie is celery!

Aparna is apart of several sports teams here at Heritage and offers her help to them in many different ways.  As for track she managed the track team for two years and she managed and swam on the swim team, also for two years.

Aparna is an AP student and has enjoyed expressing herself through art for years. She likes to create things that lack color in the areas of graphite, photography, and charcoal.

In her spare time Aparna enjoys watching Netflix specifically the shows Gotham, Criminal Minds, and Blue Bloods. She finds these shows interesting because they give insight to what kind of adventures and adversities cops and criminals face.
