Weekly Crumbl Review Oct 18-23

Ellison Downey, Staff Writer

The Crumbl flavors this week included Bubblegum, Classic Crispy Bar, Twix, and Reeses.  The Bubblegum tasted decent, which was pleasantly surprising because I thought the flavor wouldn’t be the best. The frosting did not taste like bubblegum which was a positive for me, but also misleading.  It was good for anyone who prefers sweeter cookies.  The cookie, however, was a little bit too dry for my liking, making the overall cookie a 6.5/10.  The Rice Krispie “cookie” disappointed me because I wished it was an actual cookie instead of just a rice krispie treat.  Overall it was just a mediocre rice krispie treat, and I wished the texture was a little more gooey instead of dry.  I would overall rate it a 4/10.  The Twix cookie was my personal favorite, because it had a delicious gooey caramel and chocolate top that could satisfy any sweet tooth.  The cookie was dense and not too dry, and is perfect for anyone who likes their cookies rich and sweet. My overall rating for this cookie was an 8.5/10.  Lastly, the Reeses cookie was also adequate.  The topping was good, even though there was a little too much peanut butter to chocolate ratio for my liking. The cookie was a little dry, but overall it was a pretty good flavor, and it is perfect for the salty-sweet lovers.  I would rate it a 7.5/10.
