If you are the type of person that won’t be able to sleep at night because of a scary movie, Hereditary is not for you. Personally, I don’t get scared by horror movies, but this movie left me looking in the corners of my room at night. This masterpiece got 89% on Rotten Tomatoes, and I am here to tell you why.

This move surrounds the Graham family and their crazy, twisted, cult-like lives. In the beginning of the film, the grandmother of this family passes away. No one really knew at the time what they had in store for them after her passing. The grandmother had a long history of cult-like activities and made sure to keep it going with her granddaughter. As the movie goes on, The granddaughter, Charlie, ended up getting decapitated and her death brought a lot of trouble to the family. The Grahams uncover many twisted things about their family and things they probably wished they never knew.

The end of the movie was by far the best and scariest part. I 100% recommend this movie because it is, to this day, my favorite horror movie that still scares me.
