Brace for it: The Pulsera Project Is Coming To Heritage

Skylar Zelman, Staff Writer

The Pulsera Project is coming to Heritage High School.  The Spanish Club is sponsoring the sale of the bracelets  for $7 outside the cafeteria from January 30 – February 10. The Pulsera Project supports artisans in Guatemala and Nicaragua by partnering with schools to sell the pulseras (bracelets). All of the proceeds from the sale of the bracelets at the schools are then given back to the artisans to help support their small businesses. At Heritage, they will be sold from January 30th-February 10th outside of the cafeteria during all lunches. Each bracelet is seven dollars and along with the bracelet you’ll get a card about the artisan that made it. The Pulsera Project is a great opportunity to support small businesses and to purchase a beautiful handmade bracelet. If you would like more information about The Pulsera Project visit this website.
