A cluttered phone can be very distracting and lead to an all around messy life. I am here to give you some important tips to lead to a clean, organized phone.

First, I know you have thousands upon thousands of photos in your camera roll. Do you really need tons of screenshots from years ago that you will never look at again? Probably not. Going through your camera roll and deleting things you know you won’t need to look at in a year from now will make it so much easier to find relevant pictures that you may be looking for. Start from the top and work your way down to the most recent photos, deleting anything you do not need or care about anymore. This could take you a max of 15 minutes.

Second, go through all of your apps and get rid of any you do not use. Yes, this means getting rid of those large folders of games that you used to play in middle school. Once you have finished deleting certain apps, organize the ones you do use. Whether it be in folders according to the theme of apps or different pages on your home screens with the apps that you use the most in the most convenient places. This way, all apps that you have on your phone will be the ones you use almost every day and space won’t be taken up by ones that you don’t use. This would probably take you about 10 minutes max.

Third, go to the settings app and make your way to the notifications tab. Go through each and every app in notifications and turn them on for only the apps you need to hear from. Some apps will spam you with many notifications to get your attention but you don’t care to hear from them. Turn those off. Keep notifications on for messages and any apps you need to hear from like work or school related. This will only take you about 5 minutes.

These three simple steps will lead you to an organized, better functioning phone that will make using it stress free and clean.
