We The Kingdom is a contemporary Christian band. The band is made up of mostly family members and close friends.  Ed Cash plays guitar and is the lead singer of the band, along with his daughter Franni Cash Cain. Franni´s brother Martin plays the drums, and Ed’s brother, Scott, helps sing and play guitar. Andrew is one of their close friends that feels like family; he plays the piano and guitar.

We The Kingdom came out with their self titled album, We The Kingdom, on September 16th, 2022. This is only their second album to be released.

I came across We The Kingdom when my friend invited me to their concert back in 2021. I immediately fell in love with them but more importantly their story and testimonies. I had never seen a band bring incredible joy to a crowd of people, but also show a real side of reality.

Franni is one of the artists I look up to as a singer and as a person. She has a  great sense of fashion and she lives her life so intentionally. Franni shared her heart before she performed their song, Dancing On The Waves, and it sent me to tears. I had never felt a sense of peace from music before.

My favorite song from WTK´s first album, Holy Water, is Waking up. That song has a great beat that hypes me up and gets me to dance. From their most recent self titled album I love the song God Is On The Throne. As a person who often gets overwhelmed and stressed out, the song reminds me that I am not in control of my own life.

We The Kingdom is my favorite band, and they will always have a special place in my heart.
