Located in between popular Asian-fusion restaurant Bonchon and Firebirds Wood Fired Grill, newly opened Seven TeaHouse has become a great welcoming environment in the Village at Leesburg. Specializing in various forms of tea, including the standard pot of tea and milk tea lattes, Seven TeaHouse serves as a new and unique tea shop. They sell various types of oolong, green tea, black tea, white tea, and Puerh tea. Seven TeaHouse also serves coffee, pastries, and other treats such as individual tea bags and matcha powders! Below is their menu.
Upon entering, I was greeted by kind servers who explained the menu items. I was recommended the Lime Mandarin Red Robe Tea, which has a perfect blend of lime and mandarin. Red Robe, more commonly known as Big Red Robe, is a semi-fermented oolong tea that tastes similar to certain stone fruits and has a slight floral or leaf-like taste, which compliments the mandarin perfectly. I would definitely recommend this drink to those who want a semi-sweet, fruit based tea.
The environment is definitely more cozy and laid back, and a great place to get some work done. The displays show off the tea sets and other tea-related trinkets for sale, including a Build Your Own Tea Bag section, where you can buy various tea bags and matcha powders for $1 dollar each. They even have a tea tasting bar with free samples of popular teas.
Overall, Seven TeaHouse is a great affordable place to expand your tea palette, and its peaceful environment only makes it better. I definitely recommend visiting soon!
