Netflix: What’s Coming and What’s Going

Camille Garrett, Staff Writer

In this prime of broad technology, binging TV shows has become a popular way to spend time. Using platforms such as Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime many of us are able to satisfy our needs of keeping up with the latest season of episodes of our favorite TV shows. Netflix, one of the most popular platforms used is undergoing some change in what they can and can’t offer to it’s loyal users.

Usually around the time of fall, specifically near the months of September and October are when there is a surge of new shows and the removal of old shows. As September comes to an end Netflix has over 100 new shows being added. Starting October first you can look forward to seeing some of these new items and many many more available on Netflix: Charlie’s Angels, The Flintstones, Good Burger, Ocean’s Thirteen, The Rugrats Movie, Superman Returns, and Men In Black II.

Unfortunately with these new shows and movies, it usually means that Netflix will be letting go of some as well. Here are just a few of the TV shows and movies leaving starting October first: Bonnie and Clyde, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Julie and Julia, The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, The Imitation Game, and Despicable Me 3.

Hopefully this can be guide, help you find what you might want to watch now before it leaves, or things you can look forward to starting this next month. Whichever it may be happy binging!
