1Q84 By Haruki Murakami

A book review
1Q84 By Haruki Murakami

One of my favorite books ever is 1Q84 by Haruki Murakami. Murakami is a beloved Japanese author, well known for his top rated reads, including: Norwegian Wood, Kafka on the Shore, and (my favorite) 1Q84. Referencing the well-known classic 1984 by George Orwell, 1Q84 dives into the unknown depths of the world and the deeper meaning behind relationships. Aomame, the protagonist of the novel, becomes aware of peculiar transformations taking place in the world. As the story unfolds, she finds herself entangled in a complex web involving a religious cult called Sakigake and her childhood love, Tengo. Determined to uncover the truth, she embarks on a captivating journey to unravel the mysteries of reality. I love Murakami’s writing, it is so unique and the more you read, the less you want to stop. I highly recommend 1Q84 if you are looking for a dystopian mystery intertwined in a tragic love story.
