A quote that is important to me is “You are no better than anyone, and no one else is better than you.” by John Wooden. This quote is one I hear most from my soccer coaches. They say this all the time, because they say that teenage athletes have big egos and it gets to their heads. The last thing they want to have is teammates bickering about who’s better than who. 

I think it’s important to keep the quote in mind. I can’t speak for the other classes, but I know that the freshmen class has been having issues with their egos. There have been students bickering, and arguing about who’s going to make the team, or who’s good enough to make a team.  I think it’s important to be supportive of each other, insead of being negative.
