The Heritage Baseball program is developing their program into one of the best in Loudoun County. The Heritage team was co-champions with Broad Run in 2021 and won the district championship against Broad Run this past year in 2022.

Although the team did lose some of their valuable seniors last year, this year’s team is still a district favorite going into the 2023 season.

Senior starting second baseman and lead off hitter Luke Howard is not only one of the best players on the team, but is  a true natural leader for the team this year.

When Howard was asked about what to expect from the team this year he responded confidently with ¨You should expect another great season from us. Our chemistry is off the charts and we have all put in a lot of hard work to prepare for this year.¨

The team went through a head coaching change this past off-season, and Luke voiced his thoughts on this by saying ¨We are really excited to have someone like Coach Potts lead our program. His baseball knowledge and relationship with the whole team is outstanding and he is someone who can really change the culture.¨
