Students’ Ideas On: Rush Foods

Students Ideas On: Rush Foods

Lia Zarate, Staff Writer

Have you ever had one of those days where you just can’t seem to leave the house on time for anything, be it school, practice, or work, but you still want to grab something to eat?  What would you grab? Fruit? A Granola bar? Maybe you have just enough time to stop by Chick-Fil-A? Whatever the situation, many people have a “rush food” that they grab when they are on the go.

In a recent survey of Heritage students, 16% said that granola bars were their rush food, with fast food coming in a close second. However, these are just some of the the foods that people admitted to eating while they were rushing. For example, Jonathan Ramirez, a sophomore, said that he eats a bagel with butter, because its easily accessible and quick to make. Other people said that they eat sushi, cereal, fruits and more.

The next time you’re running late and you can’t find the granola bar (or whatever your rush food is) try a fruit(or vise versa).
